On Monday, May 24, the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District will begin a project to replace a section of its Hermantown Interceptor sewer in the vicinity of Mall Drive, Haines Road and Burning Tree Road.
Mall Drive between Haines and Burning Tree roads will be closed through August 2021 to facilitate the project. Additionally, the intersection of Burning Tree Road and Highway 53 South will be closed through August. There will be no sewer service interruptions during the project.
